WIN Return Flights to Tokyo with Virgin Australia and TheLatch—

tokyo-competition

Virgin Australia recently announced a shiny new flight route to Tokyo’s closest and most convenient airport, Haneda.

So close you’ll be able to smell ramen from the runway, Haneda is situated just 20kms from the centre of Japan’s capital, and is an easy 15-min train ride away from the centrally located Shinagawa station.

Virgin Australia’s new flightpath, launched in 2020, takes Australians travelling to Japan through Brisbane. The direct flight from Brisbane to Haneda takes around 9.5 hours and includes Virgin’s award-winning service, comfortable and spacious seating, awesome in-flight entertainment, and Japanese or Western meals (bubbles, vino or saké optional). They’ve also been named World’s Best Economy in the 2020 AirlineRatings awards (if you needed yet another reason to book).

To celebrate the new route, Virgin Australia is holding a limited-time sale on flights from all major Australian cities to Tokyo, with fares starting from just $689 return. Hurry, though, because with cherry blossom season approaching and the Tokyo Olympics taking place in 2020, seats will not last long.

But the best news of all? We have two return flights to Tokyo with Virgin Australia for you and a friend to give away. Simply tell us in 25 words or less, ‘Where in Tokyo are you most excited to visit and why?’

And then start planning your trip, with what you need to know before climbing Mount Fuji and our guide to the best places to stay in Tokyo, Japan.
