Some of the show’s enthusiasts have speculated that it was shot in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. However, this is simply not the case. The production team recorded the first six seasons of the show in the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Production ultimately relocated to the lush rainforests and farmlands of Murwillumbah, New South Wales. While it may not be an actual jungle, there are still numerous creepy crawlies and wild creatures lurking about, capable of making even the most intrepid celebrity shudder in their boots.
