If you’re a parent then trying to plan for the school holidays to keep everyone happy, occupied and sane can feel like a daunting task. Add to that the grim predictions meteorologists have offered up that torrential rain might just be the theme of 2022 and it just complicates things further.
Thankfully, there are some great kids’ movies lined up over the Easter Holiday period at HOYTS — perfect for those with mini-humans or who are just young at heart. Even better, if you’re an NSW resident, you can use your “thank you” $50 vouchers to cover the cost of the trip to the cinema.
Ahead, we are looking at three film options that will keep people of all ages entertained, from the latest instalment of the adventures of a certain hedgehog to a new DreamWorks production featuring an all-star cast.

The Bad Guys
Based on the children’s book of the same name, The Bad Guys features one of the best voice casts seen (well, heard) in a kids movie recently.
Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Zazie Beetz, Lilly Singh, and Alex Borstein play a ragtag group of criminal animals known as Mr Wolf, Mr Piranha, Mr Snake, Mr Shark, and Ms Tarantula. After serving time in prison, the gang are making their best efforts to live a life that involves doing good deeds, instead of dirty ones, under the advice of Professor Marmalade (Richard Ayoade). Things are going well until a new villain rears their head.
