After missing the 2020 edition due to, well, you know, Welcome To Thornbury’s ‘Dimmy & Dumpling Festival’ is back for a 2021 edition.
The festival will return to the food truck park on Saturday 29 May with a ton of dim sim, and dumpling options with flavours from all over the world.
To wash it all down there will be plenty of beer and wine options over the Welcome To Thornbury bar, and you’ll also catch a performance by the CMS Lion Dance Team, Melbourne’s oldest lion dance team.
Food trucks in attendance include:
- Woking Amazing (vegan and gluten-free)
- Chef Calamari (classic fish n’ chip style dimmies)
- MoMore (momo – Nepalese dumplings)
- Lil Dumpling Van (100% handmade dumplings)
- Dim Sim Kingz (classic dimmies)
- Curry Up Now (dimsim curry)
- Pierogi Pierogi (Polish dumplings)
- Mr Burger (a dimsim burger)
- Harry Hoo (dimsims & spring rolls)
- Sparrow’s (cheesesteak dumplings)
- Bao Melbourne(not quite dimmies or dumplings, but adjacent)
