The Creators of TV Series ‘Line Of Duty’ and ‘Bodyguard’ Return With a New Crime Drama

VIGIL

If you can’t get enough of crime dramas then listen up, because a gripping new series is coming to BINGE and it’s guaranteed you’ll be hooked.

Written and created by BAFTA-nominated writer Tom Edge, Vigil focuses on an investigation led by DCI Amy Silva (Suranne Jones) and DS Kirsten Longacre (Rose Leslie) which leads them to a conspiracy theory in the centre of Britain’s national security.

After a crew member is discovered lifeless on board a nuclear submarine, Detective Chief Inspector Amy Silva is called in to investigate.

Although the death was claimed to be from an accidental overdose, Amy believes the true reasoning is much more sinister.

But as the crew catch wind of her theory, Amy is left with a threat that may possibly overshadow her inquiry.

Writer Tom Edge has an impressive CV, being best known for his work on Judy, The Crown and Strike.

Joining Jones and Leslie in the six-part series is Shaun Evans, Anjli Mohindra, Martin Compston and Paterson Joseph just to name a few.

Set in Scotland, Vigil is set to premiere on BINGE on August 30, with episode two available to watch the following day on August 31.

After that, new episodes will drop weekly every Monday.
