So, a Pretty Legit Whistleblower Is Claiming the US Has Multiple Alien Spacecraft

An image showing an alein ufo spaceship to illustrate the US government UFO cover up

It’s not every day that someone out there claims the US Government are covering up secrets about aliens and UFOs. Okay, actually, it is. However, this bloke, David Charles Grusch, is pretty hard to discredit.

A decorated combat officer in Afghanistan, the National Reconnaissance Office’s representative to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s co-lead for UAP analysis; if anyone should know what’s going on with the aliens, Grusch should.

The man is the most highly-ranked intelligence officer to come forward and state that aliens exist. He’s also got the receipts to prove it.

This is why everyone on the internet — or at least, in the more benign conspiracy circles — is suddenly talking about major revelations that Grusch has submitted to US Congress.

Revealing extensive and highly classified information, Grusch has spent eleven hours under oath informing Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) about hidden departments within US government agencies that have operated “retrieval programmes” for alien spacecraft for nearly a century.

These programmes, Grusch claims, have found and kept partial and intact remains of not only extraterrestrial technology but alien beings as well.

Grusch also claims that the US has been reverse engineering the recovered alien technology to build weapons and transportation technology. He has also said that this is not just an American phenomenon and that other countries are in a global cold war to find and recover alien craft so as to build their own weapons.

In a major scoop by the technology site The Debrief, which exclusively published the story, Grusch told the site that “We are not talking about prosaic origins or identities.”

“The material includes intact and partially intact vehicles.”

“We’re definitely not alone. The data points, quite empirically, to the fact that we’re not alone.”

The Pentagon, which houses the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, the department responsible for investigating UFO claims, has issued a statement saying they haven’t seen any evidence to back up Grusch’s claims.

However, lawmakers have said that they are interested in investigating Grusch’s official complaint. The House Oversight Committee has said that it will hold a hearing to discuss the potential that US government organisations are in possession of alien spacecraft.

Still, Grusch has yet to provide any evidence publically to substantiate what he’s saying. Everything that he has submitted to Congress is highly classified, but he has said they he’s told them whose doors to knock on to find out more — and it looks like they are taking him seriously.

So, is this confirmation that we’re not alone in the universe and, even wilder, that aliens have not only visited us but are actually here on Earth right now? Or is this just another dude claiming wild stuff that will never be proven? Here’s what you need to know.

US Government UFO

What Grusch has so far revealed publically about a US Government UFO coverup is this:

The US Government, its allies, and defence contractors have been running recovery programmes for unidentified aerial phenomena for the past 90 years. Interestingly, this would fit neatly with the Roswell Incident theory about a crashed spacecraft in New Mexico in the 1940s.

Those programmes are part of a “colossal enigma” of highly secretive legacy programmes run within various US government agencies that even those with the highest security clearances have never heard of. So, proper X-Files stuff.

Those programmes have found and retrieved parts of as well as intact vehicles that have either crashed or landed and are not of this Earth. They have also found the pilots of those vehicles, which he describes as “non-human.”

Grusch provided Congress with hours of recorded classified information in the form of hundreds of pages of documents containing interviews he did with high-level intelligence officials, some of whom are part of these secret programmes.

He claims that these operations have been illegally running in the US, illegally shielded from Congressional oversight. Grusch alleged that he’s been the subject of harassment for attempting to reveal them.

His claims are backed up by numerous high-level intelligence officers who say that he is “beyond reproach” in his credibility.

Journalist Leslie Kean, who broke the news in 2017 that the Pentagon has been running a secret UFO investigation programme for years, has said that Grusch’s lack of public evidence isn’t a “red flag” for her.

As co-author of this latest story, she has said that as long as the relevant authorities have the information they need to investigate further, she’s happy enough at present. Herself and the team who have worked on the story have said they have triple-checked all the relevant facts with high-up sources to make sure they’re not being had.

The UFO Whistle Blower

So, who exactly is Grusch? Well, before this story dropped, very few people would have ever heard of him. Virtually all the information we have comes from the work that The Debrief has done.

Grusch was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is 36 years old and, until April, worked as a top-level government spook investigating UFO/UAP sightings. As the Pentagon publically admitted in 2020, this is something the government legitimately does as there is video evidence of rapidly moving, seemingly intelligent objects in the sky that they believe could pose a security threat.

He has served as a Senior Intelligence Capabilities Integration Officer with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, where he had Top Secret clearance. He also served here as Senior Technical Advisor for the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena taskforce, directly investigating UFO/UAP sightings.

For five years, he worked at the National Reconnaissance Office as Senior Intelligence Officer, providing reports to Congress about UFOs/UAPs. He even helped draft a bill that gives protection to people wanting to come forward with classified knowledge of UFOs/UAPs. It was signed into law by President Biden last year.

What prompted Grusch to come forward was the fact that, during his work, he was denied access to information pertaining to these UFO recovery programmes. Upon speaking to people with knowledge about them, he decided to take the matter to Congress. Grusch filed an official complaint about these operations and the people working within them which he testified to the veracity of under oath. This is where we are now.

Interestingly, if he’s lying about these claims, he faces a prison sentence for misleading Congress. In addition, the IGIC, in receiving Grusch’s official complaint, said that they found his report both “urgent and credible.”

The Debrief article also mentions two other whistleblowers emboldened by Grusch’s willingness to speak out, who have also come forward and supported Grusch’s claims.

They are Karl E. Nell, a recently retired Army Colonel who worked on the UAP Task Force for the US Army, and Jonathan Grey, the intelligence officer specializing in UAP analysis at the National Air and Space Intelligence Centre.

These two are also high-level security intelligence officials, although Grey is not actually that person’s real name. He is, however, an actively employed government official publically confirming the truth of these claims.

The News Nation Interview

News Nation hosted a two-hour interview special with Grush on Sunday, 11 June. It was fronted by the Australian investigative journalist Ross Coulthart and comes from two interviews totalling seven hours that he spent grilling the whistleblower.

Coulthart has spent years investigating UFO claims and has worked with Grusch over many months to bring this interview together. On his own podcast, Need to Know, Coulthart has said that he expects people will go to jail for their actions in covering up these operations if and when proper action is taken to investigate these claims.

In the News Nation interview, Grusch made further claims about historical human interaction with aliens.

“The UAP taskforce was refused access to a broad crash retrieval programme,” he told Coulthart.

“These are retrieving non-human origin technical vehicles — call it spacecraft if you will — non-human, exotic origin, vehicles that have either landed or crashed”.

He says that these programmes are in possession of at least 12 of these craft. Some of them are as large as a football field, while others were given to humans by extraterrestrials. He also said that people working on the craft have become ill in doing so.

He is also aware of how wild his claims are.

“I thought at first I was being deceived; it was a ruse,” he continued.

“People started confiding in me, approaching me. I have plenty of senior, former intelligence officers that came to me, many of which I knew almost my whole career, that confided in me that they were part of a programme.”

Grusch said he had never heard of the programme in question but believed those who spoke to him.

“They told me, based on their oral testimony, and they provided me documents and other proof, that there was, in fact, a programme that the UAP Task Force was not read into,” he said.

Coulthart responds that if what he is being told is true, this would mean that the US government has been lying to the public for decades. They have consistently denied the existence of UFOs/UAPs or alien life.

“There is a sophisticated disinformation campaign targeting the US populace, which is extremely unethical and immoral,” Grusch said. He added that some factual information has been put out there alongside false claims in an effort to muddy the waters and discredit anyone who believes this stuff.

On the subject of alien life, Grusch confirms that what has been found includes extraterrestrial species that were in charge of flying these craft.

“Well, naturally, when you recover something that’s either landed or crashed. Sometimes you encounter dead pilots and believe it or not, as fantastical as that sounds, it’s true.”

“I am for real. I am sitting here at great personal risk and obvious professional risk by talking to you today,” Grusch said.

Obviously, this is the motherload for UFO believers and conspiracy theorists, many of whom now say that ‘disclosure’ – whereby governments come clean about UFOs – is close at hand.

The media, by and large, has been dismissive of Grusch’s claims, with Wired saying that the fact some members of Congress are willing to listen is a symptom of how far American democracy has fallen.

Forbes wrote in response to the claims that they are “suspiciously close to common science fiction tropes and should be recognized as such.”

Vox noted that “purported bombshells like this in the past have tended to fizzle out.”

However, with Congress set to hold a hearing on the matter, what happens next will determine if this story will suffer the same fate.
