The rom-com is back, and suddenly, I’m just a girl, standing in front of a cinema employee, asking for a Ticket to Paradise.

Ticket to Paradise is set to reunite Julia Roberts and George Clooney on the silver screen for the first time since 2016’s Money Monster. Prior to that, of course, they’d played estranged spouses in Ocean’s Eleven and Ocean’s Twelve.

Ticket to Paradise was filmed in Queensland in late 2021, and is set for a September 2022 cinema release.

Roberts and Clooney star as sparring exes who decide to team up and stop their daughter from making the same mistake they did — getting married. It’s going to be a classic enemies-to-lovers set up, and if that’s not something to celebrate, what IS?!

Here’s everything we know so far about Ticket to Paradise.

You’ll recognise Dever from BooksmartUnbelievable and Dopesick, and you’ll know Lourd from also from Booksmart, as well as Scream Queens and American Horror Story. Oh, and she’s literal Hollywood royalty — her mother was the late, great Carrie Fisher and her grandmother was the one and only Debbie Reynolds.
