The Trailer For A Quiet Place Part Two Is Here, So No Offence, But Shut Up

It was the film that had everyone afraid to eat their popcorn too loudly in theatres, holding their breath in case the monsters from A Quiet Place somehow found the cinema.

Now? A Quiet Place is back with part two, and it looks just as terrifying as the first.

The trailer shows the Abbott’s continued fight for survival as they face the world outside their home. With new characters introduced and noisy TRAPS (very rude!), the Abbotts are forced to recognise that there’s more to fight than just the creatures that are tracking every sound they make.

“Please,” Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbott pleads with another survivor. “There are people out there worth saving.”

“You don’t know, do you?” he responds. “The people that are left, aren’t the kind of people worth saving”.

Depressing and bleak! We can’t wait tbh. The only question we have left is whether we’ll see the return of our favourite not-character, the widely-memed exposition whiteboard from the original:

Like the original film, A Quiet Place Part Two is directed by John Krasinski, although his character Lee Abbott is not listed as returning for the sequel, even though the trailer opens with a flashback to the first day the creatures attacked.

The sequel also stars Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, Cillian Murphy, and Djimon Hounsou and will open in Australian theatres on March 19, 2020.
