If you like your telly served with extra hot sauce then get ready, because breakout hit The Bear has returned for its much anticipated second season. But when will The Bear Season 2 drop in Australia? We have the answers.
“It’s not a reopening, it’s a rebirth. FX’s The Bear returns this June,” FX captioned the teaser trailer earlier this year. But June has come and gone, with no Australian release.
When Will The Bear Season 2 Premiere in Australia?
Mark your calendars, because The Bear Season 2 will land on Disney+ on July 19. Although the show airs weekly in the US, when Season 1 landed on Disney+, the whole season was available. We’re not sure if it will be the same for Season 2, but we’ve got our fingers crossed for a full season release. We’ll update this post when we know more.
The Bear Season 2 Trailer
Fresh from his Golden Globe Best Actor award, Jeremy Allen White will be reprising his role as Carmy Berzatto, the classically-trained chef who has returned home to run his late brother’s ailing sandwich shop ‘The Original Beef of Chicagoland’.
At the end of Season 1, we were left on a cliffhanger, when Carmy discovers a stash of money left by his brother in a bunch of tinned tomatoes. It’s looking likely that the new season will pick up with a ‘rebirth’ of the restaurant, with Carmy’s trusted kitchen crew in tow, including the captivating Sydney played brilliantly by Ayo Edebiri.
Like any good trailer, we’re now left with scalding hot QUESTIONS. Is this end of the family-style restaurant and a move into high-end service? Will Sydney and Carmy ever stop bickering? Is someone going to come looking for all of that cold hard cash? And. most importantly, how many is too many meatball subs to consume in a week?
Carmy and Sydney: Will Sparks Fly?
But if you’re holding out hope for a potential romance between Carmy and Sydney in season two you can pour cold hot dog water on those hopes. Actress Ayo Edebiri said she thinks it’s highly unlikely their unconventional professional relationship will blossom into anything more than friends.
“I don’t want to rain on anybody’s parade, but I don’t think so. I don’t think so. And Jeremy has said this, too,” she said in an interview with TVLine. Sorry!
So, while the teaser may have only given us some crumbs of information, it most certainly ate. Come June we’ll be chomping at the bit to get stuck back into The Bear – consider us hungry.
