Thailand’s 2022 Daycare Killing Spree Was Horrifying

As previously noted, a former policeman has killed a lot of people in a recent violent outburst. This rampage happened in north-east Thailand’s Nong Bua Lamphu province.

“After inspecting the crime scene, we found that the perpetrator tried to break in, and he mainly used a knife to commit the crime by killing a number of small children,” explained Police Chief, Damrongsak Kittiprapat.

“Then he got out and started killing anyone he met along the way with a gun or the knife until he got home. We surrounded the house and then found that he committed suicide in his home.”

Another person who commented on the daycare attack was a local official named Jidapa Boonsom. She said, “At first people thought it was fireworks.”

The police are also stating that the man killed his wife and son before he killed himself.

A lot of Victorian Children Experience Anxiety

According to a recent poll by The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, 50% of 1513 Victorian parents have noted that a kid of theirs has problems with anxiety. This research asserted that 36% of these individuals have a moderate problem, while 14% have a “big problem.”

Additionally, on average, these parents only recognised half of 12 common signs and symptoms that signify that a kid might have a problem with anxiety. This report noted that 10% of parents didn’t know any signs and symptoms, and only 29% knew all of them.

A Koala Was Saved From the Bottom of a Dam Wall in NSW

In some lighter news, a male koala was saved in NSW after being stuck in Cordeaux Dam. The ABC reported that the little critter climbed down but had no way of getting back up. Fortunately though, the Wildlife Information Rescue and Education Service (WIRES) was called to the rescue.

“It involved a boat and people with ropes that were harnessed on,” detailed Emma Meadows from Wollondilly WIRES.

She additionally commented, “It followed all safety protocols for WaterNSW and for WIRES.”

Said koala is currently being treated for dehydration and will be released into the wild once he’s better. Oh, and the rescuers also named him Ollie.
