We still don’t know when season four of Stranger Things will land on Netflix — production has been delayed a few times due to COVID but it is currently filming — but we do know that when it does return, it will feature some new faces.
Joining Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery, will be some new characters who, hopefully, won’t be taken out by a Mind Flayer the way Billy was in season three. Although, Billy (Dacre Montgomery) was a total tool so we made peace with his demise pretty quickly.
Anyway, the new characters coming into the fold will all be playing residents of Hawkins, so let’s meet them, shall we?
Amybeth McNulty
Amybeth McNulty will play the role of Vickie, who is said to catch the attention of one of the main characters.
Vickie is described as a “fast-talking nerd” so we are basically imagining her to be a female Seth Cohen.
You might recognise McNulty from Netflix’s Anne With An E.
Myles Truitt
Myles Truitt will take on the role of Patrick, who is said to be “a Hawkins basketball star who has friends, talent, and a good life until shocking events send his life spiralling out of control.”
Truitt has previously appeared in Queen Sugar.
Grace Van Dien
Maybe she’s really a Demogorgon?
Regina Ting Chen
Regina Ting Chen will play “Counsellor Kelly” — a popular guidance counsellor who cares deeply for her students, especially those struggling the most.
The four actors join the previously announced new series regulars including Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, Joseph Quinn as series regulars, as well as Robert Englund. Here’s a quick refresher.
Jamie Campbell Bower
Eduardo Franco
Here’s hoping he survives longer than Barb did.
Joseph Quinn
Joseph Quinn plays Eddie Munson, who is the metalhead leader of the Dungeons and Dragons club at Hawkins High.
Eddie will find himself engaged in life-and-death battles for real when he gets sucked into the season’s terrifying central mystery.
Quinn has previously appeared in Catherine the Great.
Robert Englund
Robert Englund should need no introduction — he was Freddie freaking Kruger for crying out loud!
The horror legend is joining the Stranger Things cast as Victor Creel, a convicted murderer imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital.
Something tells us he will excel in this role.
