This February, Stan is Bringing You 80’s Nostalgia, Terrifying Thrillers and So Much More

It's a Sin

If our friends at Stan have anything to do with it, you’ll be spending a lot of time inside this February, as the streaming platform has loads of great content coming your way.

On February 12, get ready to be spooked with Clarice, starring Australia’s own Rebecca Breeds (The Originals, Pretty Little Liars) in the title role

The series follows FBI Agent Clarice Starling as she returns to the field in 1993, one year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs. Brilliant and vulnerable, Clarice’s bravery gives her an inner light that draws monsters and madmen to her. However, her complex psychological makeup that comes from a challenging childhood empowers her to begin to find her voice while working in a man’s world, as well as escape the family secrets that have haunted her throughout her life.

The platform will also welcome It’s A Sin to its slate, with the series from Russel T. Davies premiering on February 23.

It’s A Sin unpacks the lives of Ritchie (Olly Alexander), Roscoe (Omari Douglas) and Colin (Callum Scott Howells) as they embark on a new life in London at the beginning of the decade.

Strangers at first, the young men, and their best friend Jill (Lydia West), find themselves thrown together, and soon share each other’s adventures. But a new virus is on the rise, and soon their lives will be tested in ways they never imagined.

And nostalgia lovers, rejoice! Because Punky Brewster is returning to our screens on February 26.

In this continuation of the iconic ‘80s sitcom about a bright young girl raised by a foster dad (originally played by the late George Gaynes), Punky is now a single mother of three trying to get her life back on track when she meets Izzy, a young girl in the foster system who reminds Punky a lot of her younger self.

Reprising her role as the feisty teen who is now all grown up is Soleil Moon Frye who will star alongside Cherie Johnson as her best friend. Meanwhile, our 90s crush, Freddie Prinze Jr, is set to star as Travis, Punky’s ex-husband.
