Anyone who has ever seen that The O.C. episode where Marissa, Summer, Seth and Ryan get locked inside a department store overnight will be excited to hear about Airbnb’s latest campaign.
Airbnb has teamed up with Myer to give one lucky family of four the opportunity to live out the ultimate sleepover and shopping experience inside Myer’s flagship Melbourne store in an overnight stay to remember.
Kicking off on December 23, the experience starts with an indulgent Christmas feast for four, complete with Christmas crackers, pudding and pavlova, all lovingly prepared by MasterChef‘s Khanh Ong.
Full of pudding, guests then move onto an after-dark private tour of the Myer Christmas windows with the mastermind behind the display, creative and technical director, John Kerr.
Celebrity stylist Lana Wilkinson will then guide you through a personalised shopping experience over nine levels of Myer, and guests will be given a sizeable store credit to spend along the way.
For the overnight stay, Myer’s exclusive Personal Shopping Suites will be transformed into a two-bedroom family apartment. Actor Eddie Perfect will make a surprise appearance to read you a bed-time story, and should you crave a midnight snack, a private chef will be on hand.
A gourmet breakfast is served after a good night’s sleep before you’ll have the opportunity to open up the Myer store on Chrismas Eve. Finally, you’ll be escorted to the toy department, where you’ll be given five minutes to grab as many toys as you possibly can to be donated to the Salvation Army.
The ultimate sleepover has been crafted to celebrate 65 years of Myer’s Christmas windows. As such, the experience will cost only $65.
In order to score the ultimate Christmas sleepover, you’ll need to head over to the booking page and be the very first in at 12.01pm on Saturday, December 19.
