Into Scandi Home Décor? These Are the Accounts to Follow That Aren’t IKEA

Scandi home deocr accounts

Clean lines, cosy textiles and plenty of greenery are some key elements of Scandinavian interior style. They also often feature functional furniture, like a couch doubling as a bed or extendable dining table, wood floors, and natural light (well, as much of it as they can get in winter, that is).

“Basically, it’s the ideal design style for someone who wants to feel like their home is constantly giving them a warm embrace and making their life easier,” writes House Beautiful.

To tap into Scandi home décor aesthetic for your own space, you could go to Swedish home and furniture giant IKEA and buy all that you need. But with that, you risk your space looking exactly like the catalogue and lacking any personality.

So, instead, consider following some Instagram accounts that exclusively feature Scandi home décor. Scrolling Instagram, you’ll then likely be treated to photos of the aesthetic on your feed, inspiring you and allowing you to see all the different ways it’s interpreted.
