Even though it’s the cheapest of Samsung’s new Galaxy S23 range, the base model S23 is nothing to turn your nose up at, featuring a bright 6.1-inch AMOLED display, four dynamic cameras including a 50MP wide-angle main camera and 12MP selfie camera, the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and an impressive 22-hour battery life.
In almost all the ways that matter, the S23 and the S23+ are the same phone. They both have “enhanced nightography” features like object-aware AI for your selfies, improved image stabilisation, multi-frame processing for crisp nighttime filming and improved low-light portraits. And while the S23 has a slightly smaller display, it’s capable of the same 2340 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, the same peak brightness, the same HDR capabilities and the same adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz.
The biggest difference between the two models is the battery, with the S23 fitting in a slightly smaller 3,900mAh capacity — but it still had super fast charging, fast wireless charging and wireless power share.

The second most important difference is the price — the S23 starts at $1,349, which is $300 cheaper than the S23+ starting price.
