Celebrity MasterChef is set to grace our screens soon, and with so many big names competing on the hit show, we cannot wait to see which celeb will take home the title.
Australia’s own Rebecca Gibney is best known for her role on Packed To The Rafters, a show so well received, it’s now getting ready for a follow up titled Back To The Rafters.
She may be a phenomenal actress, but the kitchen requires a completely different set of skills, and the 56-year-old doesn’t think she has what it takes to make it to the end of Celebrity MasterChef.
In a teaser for the show, the star joked, saying, “It’s just never going to happen… without cheating.”
Although, she did reveal that she makes a “great spag bol” so whether she’s underselling herself is yet to be seen.
MasterChef judge and food writer Melissa Leong was seen praising Rebecca for the simplicity behind her food.
“Rebecca, that was pure unadulterated joy,” said Mel.
Whatever the outcome, it’s quite apparent that The Wanted actress had a great time, taking to Instagram to open up about the entire experience.
“And so it begins… One of the most challenging emotionally intense roller coaster experiences of my life and I have to thank Zac for making me do it. I laughed, I cried, I may have sworn – sorry Mum and I made friends for life. I truly had the most wondrous time.
“(Thank you to my dear friend @jane_l_kennedy for being my cooking mentor throughout ♥️) and thank you to the entire production team on @masterchefau – I literally couldn’t have done it without you all♥️ and I will never forget this time. Coming soon to ten.”
She also seems to have made lifelong friends, saying she and Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Tilly are “friends for life.”
