If your streaming skills are next to none, listen up! Prime Video is giving you the chance to monetise your movie nights with the brand-new Prime Video Buff role, a swanky summer job that pays $40k for your expert recommendations on what movies and series we should all be watching.

We know, we know, it sounds too good to be true. But this is the real deal! Don’t just take our word for it — here’s the official job description:

Quite simply, you’ll get paid to watch Prime Video content and then recommend the best to Australians over summer. Pretty much, doing what you do anyway – but you’ll earn money for it.

You’ll get to stream Prime Video’s latest content before anyone else and get access to red carpet events. As it’s an on-camera role, you’ll become a fixture on Prime Video’s social platforms, giving everyone else the heads up on all the unmissable movies and series that are hitting the streaming service.

Other perks of the job include your own fancy Prime Video Buff chair and a positively enviable job title. And did we mention it pays $40k for 3-months of wor—we mean, streaming?

Here’s how to apply!

Submit a short, 2-minute max. video here explaining why you should be the Prime Video Buff. The video can be anything that shows your knowledge of TV and film — perhaps a review of the last movie you watched, a love letter to your favourite series of all time, a tour through your movie memorabilia collection or simply you listing all the movie quotes you know off by heart. Just let your knowledge and passion show.

Applications are open now and close on November 28.
