Indoor plant obsessives need to get creative in the ways they display their frondy friends at home, that is, if they’re at all interested in having floor space left for furniture.

Recently, we shared with you our very own hack for hanging indoor plants at home without hooks with the nifty use of a tension rod, and now, we have another to share that we know you’ll like just as much.

Etsy retailer Jim Baggett, who operates under the e-store Indoor Window Gardens, is selling a clever and innovative perspex shelving system perfect for hanging indoor plants in front of a window.

Seemingly the only one of its kind, the floating shelves hang off the top of a window frame and come fully assembled to support up to 12 plants in pots. Succulents, herbs, flowers, anything goes; it’s really up to you how you’d like your windowsill garden to appear.

The clear acrylic shelves are supported by small metallic cables that appear near-invisible against the window. They’re lightweight so as to not damage the top of a window frame, however, you can also request a mounting block should your windows be frameless.

This plant screen provides privacy and looks stunning to boot.

The store has made over 1000 sales online, with only five-star reviews from thrilled customers.

“What a fantastic find. This made my small apartment space so much more accommodating to my plant obsession!” one reviewer wrote while another added: “Love these shelves so much we bought another one after our first purchase!”

Indoor Window Gardens shelves are manufactured in the United States and come in three sizes to suit any home, starting from around AU $107.

Right now, Baggett’s store has sold out of product however a restock is expected soon. Shop the Indoor Window Gardens range now.
