Optus Is Giving Away Apple Watches With Its New iPhone 13 Plans

We love a sneaky bargain, especially when it’s a brand new Apple Watch. That’s what you’ll get at Optus right now when you sign up for an iPhone 13 plan.

Specifically, anyone who signs up to an Optus plan with the iPhone 13, 13 mini, 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max will get a free 41mm Apple Watch S7.

While you’ll get the watch for free, there is a small cost involved — you’ll need to add a $10 Watch SIM onto your phone plan to be able to claim it (and use it afterward). Even so, the total amount you’ll spend over the course of a 24-month or 36-month plan comes out to $240, which is more than $500 off the retail price. To put that into perspective, an Apple Watch would cost you $749, so you’re still pocketing a big saving.

To sweeten the pot even more, the Watch SIM also comes with additional bonuses that you can use on your iPhone 13. You’ll get an extra 1GB of data each month, and you’ll also be able to share your number between devices to take calls on your Apple Watch. The future is here.

If you want to upgrade to the 44mm Apple Watch, you’ll just need to pay an additional $50 over the course of the plan.
