Noosa Accommodation
Noosa, one of the most famous holiday destinations in the country, is infamous for its shortage of tourism accommodation. This drives up the prices and makes booking in advance a must. So, here are the spots that are worth locking in early to make sure you get the best of what the region has to offer.
Designed by Queensland architect John Mainwaring, Noosa Residences has been recognised for its stunning build. The resort offers 23 residences in two or three-bedroom options with either a view of the surrounding rainforest or the ocean in front. It’s just a few minutes from the bustle of Hastings Street while retaining a chilled, quiet atmosphere perfect for relaxing.
For something a little more rustic, Noosa Hinterland Escape is a heritage building nestled in the luscious Noosa Hinterland. The four-room B&B is a family-run affair that plays the perfect host to revitalising weekends away. With a communal fire pit and views across the Noosa National Park to Rainbow Beach, this is an excellent location for anyone looking to get away from it all.
Right on the waters of Laguna Bay, you’ll find Seahaven Noosa, a four-star relaxed, beachside resort. They offer everything from one-bedrooms and studios to penthouses with their own spas and BBQ areas. The resort itself has direct access to Noosa’s Main Beach, three heated pools, surf-equiptment hire, and is home to Zachary’s Gourmet Pizza Bar for evening feasting.
If you’re not fussed about staying in the main town and want something truly unique, check out Lake Weyba Cottages. Situated just 15 minutes south of Noosa, and five minutes from Peregian Beach, Lake Weyba Cottages has eight luxurious, hand-built homes set in 20 acroes of gardens, lagoons, and bushland. Each cottage comes with its own spa, views of the lake and the wild kangaroos, plus you can order massage therapy and facials to your room.
Another incredible, out-of-the-way stay is Noosa Valley Manor. A boutique B&B designed and built by husband and wife owners, Renate and Roberto, Noosa Valley Manor has four king-suite apartments on offer, each packed with hand-selected artworks. You’ll be served a delicious breakfast of locally-sourced foods by Roberto in the morning and can spend your time exploring the exotic tropic garden the pair have curated over 10 years.
Peppers, part of the Mantra group, is one of Australia’s top luxury resort, hotel, and other premium lodging owners, so it should come as no surprise that they have an outpost in Noosa. Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas is an upscale offering close to both the Noosa Main Beach and the Laguna Lookout in the serenity of Noosa National Park. As the name would imply, they have both elegantly furnished resort stays and open-plan, self-contained villas which both have access to their two pools, their day spa, and the View restuarant.
Finally, we have one of the newer offerings in the area, Netanya Noosa. Well, when we say new, the resort originally opened in 1994 but has recently undergone an $11.5 million makeover that has given the whole place a refresh and a newer, modern look. Right on Noosa’s Main Beach, Netanya is all low-rise style, maximising the location and the centre-piece pool at the front. An excellent place to sip cocktails on a pool-lounger by day and explore the fun of the nearby Hastings Street.
