Netflix Has Released Its Movie Line-Up for January 2021 and Where Did 2020 Go?

New year, new….movies added to Netflix.

January is already shaping up to be better than all of 2020 with some new films coming to the streaming service.

From Australian film Beneath the Clouds to the cult classic Batman Forever, if streaming is anything to go by, we’re in for a real treat.

The Academy Award-winning film American Hustle is also joining the service with an all-star lineup including Jennifer Lawrence, Jeremy Renner, Bradley Cooper and Amy Adams.

Inspector “Dirty” Harry Callahan must stop a sick secret contest to murder local celebrities, which includes himself as a target. 

Beneath Clouds (Jan 10)

The story of Lena, the light-skinned daughter of an Aboriginal mother and Irish father and Vaughn, a Murri boy doing time in a minimum-security prison in North West NSW.

Dramatic events throw them together on a journey with no money and no transport. To Lena, Vaughn represents the life she is running away from.

Pet Sematary (Jan 10)

The Ugly Truth (Jan 15)

American Hustle (Jan 22)

A fictional film that depicts one of the most stunning scandals to rock the US, American Hustle tells the story of brilliant con man Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale), who along with his equally cunning and seductive British partner Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams) is forced to work for a wild FBI agent Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper).

Irving’s unpredictable wife Rosalyn (Jennifer Lawrence) could be the one to pull the thread that brings the entire world crashing down.
