Thanks to Netflix, you can indulge in a new cinematic offering every single week in 2021 with the streamer releasing an impressive array of titles across every genre you can imagine. 

If you love Award-winning filmmakers (like Australia’s own Oscar winner, Jane Campion) then you’ll be delighted by offerings such as The Power of the Dog and Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up.  

Zombies your thing? Check out Army of the Dead. More into cowboys? Try The Harder They Fall or Concrete Cowboy. There is also no shortage of book-to-screen adaptations with The Woman in the Window, Munich and The Last Letter from Your Lover all landing on the streaming platform. 

The weekly selection on offer will allow you to spend some quality time with A-list actors such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Dwayne Johnson, Idris Elba, Meryl Streep, Zendaya, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds and Naomi Watts.

Love Hard

Synopsis: An LA girl, unlucky in love, falls for an East Coast guy on a dating app and decides to surprise him for Christmas, only to discover that she’s been catfished. But the object of her affection actually lives in the same town, and the guy who duped her offers to set them up IF she pretends to be his own girlfriend for the holidays.
