Kit Harrington From ‘Game of Thrones’ Is Just One of the Famous Faces You’ll See In Season 2 of Amazon’s ‘Modern Love’

Season one of Amazon’s Modern Love beautifully brought the New York Times column of the same name to life thanks to a collection of unique stories and stellar performances from Tina Fey, Anne Hathaway and Dev Patel — to name a few.

The critically acclaimed anthology series is set to return for another season on the streaming platform, bringing with it an equally impressive cast of performers.

Season two of Modern Love will premiere on Prime Video later this year in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, with executive producer John Carney saying in a press statement, “We’re so excited to bring a second season of this series to life, and give an opportunity to really shine a light on what matters most. With so much uncertainty in our current world, these stories bring truth and love to people everywhere, and I’m so appreciative to be a part of making that happen.”

In addition to his executive producing duties, Carney will also write and direct. Other episodes will be directed by John Crowley (Brooklyn), Marta Cunningham (Insecure), Jesse Peretz (Glow)  and Andrew Rannells (Black Monday) who will direct an instalment of the anthology based on a personal essay that he wrote for the beloved New York Times column.

Notably, Emmy Award nominee and Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington will appear in the second offering of the heartfelt series as well as Lucy Boynton who is perhaps best known for her breakout role opposite real-life partner Rami Malek in 2018’s Bohemian Rhapsody.
