Good news stories appear to be few and far between at the moment, but the return of a playful seal—known by the name Salvatore—to Melbourne has been met with plenty of joy.
Salvatore has been spotting in Melbourne spasmodically, appearing in 2014, and again in 2017, and then returning during Melbourne’s epic 100 day lockdown in 2020. Now, Salvatore is back, and there’s a new Instagram handle that’s keeping track of all his hijinks up and down the Yarra River.
Follow @seally_friend and keep track of Salvatore as he frolics near Yarra Bend, Dights Falls, and other iconic locations along the Yarra River.
