Australia’s favourite ice cream sandwich, Maxibon, is bringing us more joy than we can handle this weekend with a dedicated Maxibon drive-through landing in South Melbourne.
In celebration of their new Maxibon Waffle On—a sweet slab of ice cream loaded with caramelized sugar pieces, jammed between two waffle biscuits and dipped in caramel white choc with hazelnuts and cookie crumb—they’re now launching their first ever ‘Maxibon Waffle On Drive-Thru’.

But there’s a twist: it’s a drive-thru full of giveaways. That’s right—you don’t have to pay a cent for your favourite ice cream sandwich.
For one weekend only, Maxibon is taking over the Saul’s Sandwiches Drive Thru site on Kings Way, replacing regular sandwiches for Maxibon sandwiches, including their original flavours as well as their new Maxibon Waffle On.
Popping up in Melbourne for a limited time only, lovers of ice cream, breakfast, and all things Bon, can visit the drive-thru and get their hands on the new Maxibon Waffle On from August 12 – 14 for FREE.
There are literally thousands free Maxibon Waffle On Bons to give away, as well as exclusive, Maxibon merch for those who are first in the queue — so you’d better not sleep on this one.
