The very first look at Married at First Sight’s 2022 season is here and we’ve finally been told who will be starring in the upcoming instalment. Australia’s biggest and most controversial reality show is gearing up for its ninth season, and it has some big shoes to fill, with last year’s finale attracting close to 1.4 million viewers.
The show has been responsible for pushing a number of personalities into the spotlight, including Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson, who are currently engaged and just recently gave birth to twin boys.
From makeup artists to hairstylists, this year, those looking for love have an impressive amount of Instagram followers before they’ve even appeared on the show.
One of the brides can also be considered a reality TV veteran, previously appearing on Channel 7’s short-lived dating series The Proposal. Selina Chhaur appeared on the show hoping to find the love of her life, and despite being “proposed” to by Love Island star Aaron Shaw, the relationship didn’t work out after the show stopped filming.
It only makes sense that the hairdresser is now taking a crack at Married At First Sight, but something tells us that finding everlasting love on a reality show isn’t as easy as it seems.
With the show gearing up to premiere on January 31, Nine has been releasing tidbits slowly. So without further ado, here are the people appearing on Married At First Sight 2022:
