MAFS 2023: Layton Is Ready to Make Love His Priority

Celebrating its 10th season, the new series of Married at First Sight put relationships to the test in ways they could never imagine as our new brides and grooms say “I do” to a complete stranger.

Twenty singles will meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day after being matched by relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla. And we can’t wait for the drama!

The social experiment kicked off on Monday, January 30, at 7:30pm on Channel 9, and it premiered with a bang. We’ve also been teased with some honeymoons ranging from the deeply romantic to the extra-spicy and drama-filled, both interstate and overseas.

But that’s not all. A brand-new twist is going to send shockwaves through the experiment as we’ve never seen before, which will put couples to the ultimate test.

For now, here’s everything we know so far about the participants of MAFS 2023.

Layton

Layton has been a self-starter from the young age of 19. The entrepreneur has started a number of successful businesses, including his latest project in medicinal cannabis for pets.

Being so career-driven, the 35-year-old doesn’t commit to making love a priority and often puts work first. He’s the only single person in his close-knit group of friends, so he’s finally realised that something must change. He’s also close to his parents and wants to be there to care for them as they grow older.

Over the past few years, Layton has taken a lot of time considering and re-evaluating what is important in life. He is looking for a woman who shares his work ethic, his sense of determination and drive — ultimately someone to grow his empire with.
