Anna Kendrick’s New Series ‘Love Life’ Looks So Damn Relatable

Love Life

If there’s one actor in Hollywood that seems pretty relatable, it’s Anna Kendrick.

Whip-smart, the 34-year-old is funny, often awkward during interviews, and doesn’t hold back when it comes to some seriously hilarious stories about her life.

The Trolls: World Tour actor is in a brand new series coming to Stan called Love Life. It gives us a realistic look at the life of a single woman navigating the world of dating.

This fresh take on a romantic comedy is the first full-length scripted series to star Oscar nominee Kendrick and is about the journey from first love to last love, and how the people we’re with along the way make us into who we are when we finally end up with someone forever.

The series will follow a different protagonist’s quest for love each season, with each half-hour episode telling the story of one of their relationships.

Starring alongside Kendrick — who plays protagonist Darby in the first season — is Zoë Chao (Downhill, Strangers) who plays Sara, Darby’s best friend and college roommate.

Peter Vack (Someone Great, The Bold Type) plays Jim, Sara’s long-term boyfriend and Sasha Compere (Miracle Workers, Uncorked) plays Darby’s outspoken roommate while Lesley Manville (Harlots, Another Year) also stars.

The series is by creator and co-showrunner Sam Boyd (In a Relationship) and is produced by Lionsgate Television and Feigco Entertainment, with Kendrick serving as executive producer alongside Bridesmaids and A Simple Favour director and producer, Paul Feig.

Love Life premieres 27 May, only on Stan in 4K – same day as the US with new episodes weekly.
