Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin in The Mandalorian, streaming in Australia on Disney+.

In an ideal world, everyone would have a friend who shares their streaming service passwords with them. But this isn’t an ideal world, and we all too often have to pay for our own accounts.

Politely, to hell with that! We’ve done God’s work (roughly 15 minutes of Googling) and discovered every streaming service in Australia that offers a free trial. Keep reading to find out how to watch for free.

Does Netflix Have a Free Trial?

The streaming giant sadly doesn’t offer a free trial. Instead, the cheapest way to get a Netflix account is to pay for a month of the basic plan and then cancel your subscription before it’s automatically renewed.

The basic plan costs $6.99 a month and lets you stream at 720p — but it does come with ads. For no ads, you’ll need the $16.99 standard plan or $22.99 premium plan. Premium also lets you stream in 4K.

Does Prime Video Have a Free Trial?

Prime Video offers a 30-day free trial when you sign up for Amazon Prime. After that’s it’s $6.99 a month or $59 for an entire year. Amazon Prime members also get free delivery on eligible Amazon purchases, exclusive early access to sales, free games and in-game items with Prime Gaming and access to music and podcasts on Amazon Music.

Binge offers a two-week free trial — and best of all, you can choose between the basic, standard and premium plans. After two weeks, you’ll automatically be charged for your plan of choice ($10 for basic, $16 for standard and $18 for premium). If you decide it’s not for you, just cancel your subscription before the two weeks is up.

Does Disney+ Have a Free Trial?

Disney+ is essential if you’re a Marvel or Star Wars fan, but sadly it does not offer a free trial. Unlike Netflix’s tiered plans, Disney+ only offers the one, but you can pay for it on a monthly or annual basis. That means the cheapest way to get Disney+ is to sign up for a month ($13.99) and cancel your subscription before it’s auto-renewed.

Does Apple TV+ Have a Free Trial?

Apple TV+ does offer a free trial! You get seven days free, and then it’s $9.99 a month to continue watching shows like Ted Lasso and Mythic Quest.

Does Stan Have a Free Trial?

Stan offers a 30-day free trial, tied for the longest with Prime Video. To get started, simply pick the plan you want between basic ($10), standard ($16) and premium ($21). You’ll only be charged after your first month, unless you cancel beforehand.

For reference, basic lets you watch on one device at a time at standard quality. The standard plan ups that to HD and three devices at once, while premium lets you watch on four devices in 4K ultra HD.

Does Paramount+ Have a Free Trial?
