Oh yeaaah! Oh yeaaah!

We know that Entourage fans were already thrilled when the Vincent Chase a.k.a Adrian Grenier began filming in Melbourne in December for a brand new Netflix series called Clickbait.

Joined by the star of The Big Sick, Zoe Kazan, Netflix announced that the Hollywood heavyweights had joined the eight-episode series.

Now, according to Deadline, seven more actors have joined the cast, which is the first Netflix original produced in Melbourne, Victoria.

Abraham Lim (The Catch), Jessica Collins (Revolution), Ian Meadows (Dead Lucky), Daniel Henshall (Okja), Motell Foster (Foxhole), Jaylin Fletcher (Snowpiercer) and Camaron Engels (Malibu Rescue) are all on board for the thriller, which is set in Oakland, California.

The story explores the dangers fueled by the lawlessness of social media, and “the ever-widening fractures we find between our virtual and real-life personas”.

Grenier plays a character named Nick Brewer, who seems to have a “perfect life”.

Australian actor Phoenix Raei (The Heights) will also star as a detective named Roshan Amir and break-out star of the insane thriller Get Out Betty Gabriel, will play Sophie Brewer, Nick’s wife, who is tangled in the web of the “biggest media story in the nation”.

Nick is married to Sophie (Betty Gabriel) and has two sons, Kai (Fletcher) and Ethan (Engels), but his seemingly ideal existence is turned on its head when he finds himself mixed up in a bizarre crime.

Kazan, who wrote the screenplay for Ruby Sparks, plays Pia Brewster, “a young woman desperate for answers when her brother goes missing.”

Lim will play Ben Park, a ruthless junior news producer, while Collins plays Emma Beesley, a successful woman seeking spiritual nourishment.

Meadows plays Matt Aldin, best friend to Grenier’s Brewer and Foster will portray Curtis Hamilton, a former colleague of Sophie’s.

This sounds so good!

Since the series is being filmed in Melbourne, you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Grenier — or any of these talented stars — hanging out in local South Yarra coffee haunts.

And a hot tip if you’re thinking of shouting Grenier coffee order. He likes an “oat milk flat white”.
