Dyson’s known for its high-quality, cutting-edge tech so grabbing one of its vacuums is an investment. They’re slightly more expensive than other vacuums on the market but you can rest assured you’re getting a good product — and a good-looking one too.
They’re statement home accessories with signature pops of purple and see-through vacuum bodies so you can see the parts at work. Plus, they come with a 2.5-year warranty. All this is to say they’re worth their price tags.
That said, they can often be bought discounted – during big sales like Dyson Week, Black Friday or this week when I spotted the Dyson V10 Cyclone Cordless Vacuum on sale for 46% off. The vacuum usually retails for $1,099 but on Amazon this week, it’s for sale for the bargain price of $589.
So what does the vacuum feature? Released in March 2018 as the successor to the V8, the V10 sits in the middle of the current Dyson floor care range with the most recent models including Dyson WashG1 and two models of Dyson V12. The V10 has an all-in-one washable filter and, compared to the V8, a faster motor and larger bin capacity. It has three power modes, 60 minutes of power and a point-and-shoot hygienic bin emptier.
“Lightweight and powerful,” wrote one Amazon reviewer. “The Dyson range is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and this easy to use vacuum is worth every cent. We’re looking forward to using this for ages after buying it brand new.”
Another shared that they’d upgraded from a V6 to the V10. “Really happy with the upgrade,” they wrote. “So much better and smoother.”
