The Trailer for ‘Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness’ Has Landed

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness

Marvel fans, assemble! A new trailer for Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness dropped during the Super Bowl LVI, and it seems chaos is set to ensue.

Featuring some of our favourites including Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Wong (Benedict Wong), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is going to be surrounded by some big names from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

One of the biggest surprises is the possible return of Patrick Stewart as Professor X from the X-Men series, who fans believe is featured in the trailer at around 1:19.

The mystery character, whose face is not shown, can be heard saying: “We should tell him the truth.”

After all the crossovers in Spider-Man: No Way Home, anything is possible at this point. Although, it is surprising that Marvel would drop such a big reveal in one of its trailers if the above turns out to be true.

The studio is notorious for being incredibly tight-lipped when it comes to cameos, but we’re sure they have plenty of other unexpected moments scattered throughout the film.

It won’t be easy to beat No Way Home, but if X-Men and Dr Strange collide, they may be able to top its success.

Not only did the studio unveil a new trailer, but they also shared a poster for the movie and it looks intense.

Other actors starring in the film include Chiwetel Ejiofor, Xochitl Gomez and Rachel McAdams.

With Doctor Strange messing with time, it looks like in the Multiverse of Madness, he may have gone too far, so the question is: Will the world be able to recover?

We keep watching the trailer over and over again to see if there are any other Easter eggs we could find, but take a look for yourself and start the countdown to May 5.

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness will be released in HOYTS Cinemas nationwide on May 5, 2022.
