The tiny home movement is showing no signs of slowing down. And in fact, following a turbulent year spent indoors, the need for an off-grid escape that allows us to reconnect with nature has never been greater.

Thankfully, there are a number of tiny home holiday rentals emerging that offer a mini-getaway for the weekend, but should you wish to set up your very own tiny home in the middle of nowhere, then you’ll be glad to know of this new company that’s building them right here in Australia.

Luxe Tiny Homes is a fairly new player in the tiny homes arena. Based in Victoria, the skilled team behind the brand are building high-end, turn-key-ready tiny homes for Australian holidaymakers looking to get away.

As of right now, the company has one model, The Arlie, available for order, however, three new models are soon to launch from the brand: The Hideaway, the Daintree and the Byron.

The finished Arlie boasts a chic and spacious design with a luxurious interior fit-out. Though you can purchase your Arlie tiny home as a lock-up starting from $75,990 (basically the framework for a tiny home you can then customise yourself), you can also purchase a completed luxury dwelling from $119,990.

A finished model like this comes with all the lavish extras one could ever hope for in a tiny home. We’re talking about a full kitchen with timber cabinetry, a Westinghouse Oven, Bosch Cooktop and Rangehood, a tiled bathroom with shower and toilet, and all flooring and painting done to your preferences.

Should you wish to, you can also look to add additional extras like a skylight, air conditioning, underfloor insulation, Bosch dishwasher, keyless door, timber decking, and much, much more.

“You can start with our models or work with us to design your own,” the team at Luxe Tiny Homes says, adding; “All of our designs can be customised and adjusted to suit your needs”.

While the tiny homes available can be configured to plug into existing electricity and water outlets, Luxe Tiny Homes is also able to build its dwellings to operate entirely off the grid for a more eco-friendly

“You can go as off-grid as you like. We offer and install some of the best solutions including solar and battery power, composting toilets, sewage collection systems, and rainwater tanks.”

Being an Australian company, buyers can rest assured the tiny homes are built to legal requirements. “Our tiny homes are built on road trailers and are limited to the maximum allowed legal size. This means a maximum overall height of 4.3m, 2.5m wide and 12.5m in length (including drawbar),” Luxe Tiny Homes says.

Once an order is placed, the build time commences to deliver a completed tiny home, delivered anywhere in Australia, in six to 10 weeks.

The team will even install your tiny home for you and arrange electrical and plumbing connections, should you require them.

Head over to Luxe Tiny Homes now to find out more about the builds on offer.
