Clear, bubble vases, white, boucle chairs and ceramic, sheer pink serving platters. While these might sound like homewares from a high-end boutique, they’re in fact all part of Big W’s latest homewares drop, Sunrise Valley.
Taking inspiration from Scandi designs, with autumnal tones and patterns weaved in, the collection is both stylish and practical, and, best of all, starts at $10 and goes up to $109, the price tag for a Milan Teddy Occasional Chair, a seat made with boucle, the looped yarn heavy fabric, perfect for positioning next to a lounge or in the corner of your bedroom.
While BROSA had a version — its Ada Swivel Accent Chair — for $649, as did Lounge Lovers — Chloe Swivel Accent Chair — with armrests for $599, it was game-over on the price front when Kmart dropped theirs — Sundae Bouclé Chair, which runs 75cm in height and 70cm wide — in January this year. To no one’s surprise, the chair quickly sold out.
But now, fortunately, Big W has now entered the boucle chair chat.
“At Big W, we’re here to help families make their home their very own little oasis with our beautiful on-trend homewares that will refresh your living spaces without spending hundreds,” says Big W’s Senior Designer for Home, Gary Chen.
“Focus on small changes that will have a big impact, from lifting your lounge with textured cushions and throws, elevating your shelves with feature vases or beautifying your bedroom with plush quilts in bold prints.”
The retailer and e-tailer, which now offers contactless pick-up, home delivery and direct-to-boot, says it’s aiming to be a one-stop-shop for those looking to revamp their home at amazing value, whether that’s adding to their homewares or furniture collection or starting from scratch.
So, what else is on offer from them in this Sunrise Valley collection?
