Landscapers is a comedy-drama miniseries that’s based on the real-life stories of Susan and Christopher Edwards. This couple killed Susan’s parents and buried them in their garden in Mansfield, England

The series stars Olivia Colman and David Thewlis as the killer couple and follows their decade-long crime which was uncovered in 2012. Now, what sets Landscapers apart is the fact that it blurs the lines between the couple’s reality and what actually happened. It does in an attempt to explain their mindset.

Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story

Jeffrey Dahmer was a notorious American serial killer who murdered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. He was convicted and sentenced to life in prison, where he was later killed by a fellow inmate in 1994. Dahmer’s life and crimes were the subject of a 2022 series called Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story

But don’t let the long and convoluted title of this series stop you from bingeing this series. ‘Cause this program explores Dahmer’s life and crimes in gripping detail. It also critiques the police, who were so incompetent and apathetic that they allowed Dahmer to go on a multiyear murder spree.

American Crime Story is an American anthology true crime series that discusses a different high-profile case each season. The first season is about The People vs. O.J. Simpson. Meanwhile, the second season analyses the assassination of Gianni Versace. And the third season digs into the impeachment of the American President Bill Clinton.

Murder Mountain

Murder Mountain is a true crime doco that discusses Northern California’s Humboldt County region. But why make a doco about this area? Well, because a whack of illegal marijuana is grown here. What’s more, a lot of people are murdered here across its expansive mountain range. Murder Mountain is an uncompromising deep dive into the area’s marijuana industry. It’s seriously worth dipping your toes in.

Crimes That Shook Australia is an Aussie true crime doco television series that explores some of our country’s famous crimes.
