The robot vacuum industry is booming. There are models now available for all budgets, and with all different kinds of features, including functionality to mop, as well as to automatically empty the dirt it’s sucked up.
If you’re new to robot vacuums, though, the choice can be overwhelming. So, ahead, we’ve shared some of the best on the market, each representing a different price range.

Launched in November 2022, Samsung’s BESPOKE Jet Bot AI+ features a five-layered filtration system, AI-powered object recognition that helps it clean around items on the floor like dog bowls or loose socks, and, conveniently, automatic dust disposal through a clean station.
Roborock S5 Max Robotic Vacuum Cleaner & Mop, $749
Roborock S5 Max Robotic Vacuum Cleaner & Mop features a 180-minute battery life and powerful suction. Like most robot vacuums, the S5 Max has a mobile app that allows you to create two-level mapping that ensures your space is cleaned as efficiently as possible. One of the most notable features of this model is the customizable water release that can be adjusted to suit different surfaces when mopping.
iRobot Roomba i3 Wi-Fi Connected Robot Vacuum, $697, was $999
This unit is one of the original robot vacuums, but still remains one of the most technologically advanced and efficient. The Roomba 3 works well on sucking up pet hair and on cleaning up dirt from carpeted areas. It features built-in sensors that direct it to work harder on concentrated areas, such as areas of high traffic. It’s even compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant.
Ecovacs Robots Deebot N8 Pro, $699
Considering some robot vacuums start at about $100 and can get as expensive as $3,000, this vacuum, at $699, sits nicely in the middle. It will automatically change between vacuuming and mopping, depending on the surface it detects, and has noise as low as 67 decibels, the level of everyday speech. Through its app on your phone, you can also create no-go zones in your home, divide and label rooms, and schedule when it should clean.
Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni, $2,099
Launched in April 2022, Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni a top-of-the-line robot vacuum option. It has a pressurised mopping system that’s like human hands mopping, a water tank that’ll automatically refill from its docking station, which it returns to after every clean, and a 260-minute run time. It also operates by voice control.
MyGenie ZX1000 Robotic Vacuum, $179.10, was $199
MyGenie is exactly what it sounds like, making your first wish come true, saying goodbye to hoovering. MyGenie also uses the two-in-two function and, after hoovering, can dry and wet mop your floors. Find a schedule that works for you and program your vacuum to do its daily clean first thing in the morning. It lasts two hours when fully charged.
Kogan SmarterHome G50 Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop, $199
For an affordable robot vacuum option, look no further than Kogan SmarterHome G50 Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop. Like most robot vacuums, it can be controlled through your phone, with the ability to map out the rooms in your home. It’s engineered with powerful 1800KPA and mopping power, powerful enough for most modest-sized homes or apartments. The unit chooses from four cleaning modes and three suction modes, depending on the surface. Once it’s done, it’ll go back to its charging dock.
