The Best Movies Available to Stream on BINGE Right Now

Streaming services can feel overwhelming with the amount of content to scroll through, and BINGE is no exception. This is, of course, a good thing — with so many options, you’ll always find something to watch.

We did want to help you out, though. We’ve scrolled so you don’t have to and found the best movies on BINGE that we think are perfect for your next date night . . . or just your next weekend on the couch.

From classics you must see before you die, to modern favourites that pretty much anyone watching will love, these are the best movies to watch right now on BINGE.

Erin Brockovich (2000)

The film that earned Julia Roberts the Best Actress award at the 2001 Oscars, Erin Brockovich is one of those movies you can watch again and again without ever tiring of it. Erin’s journey from being a single mum just holding it together for her young family, to taking on a corporate giant over the poisoning of a small Californian town is about as inspiring as it gets. Roberts’ performance is stellar, but it’s also just a really damn good film.

Ex Machina (2015)

If you’re looking for a good edge-of-your-seat thriller, this fascinating sci-fi film is as suspenseful as they come. When a computer programmer wins a competition to spend time with his brilliant, reclusive CEO, he is drawn into the morally ambiguous world of artificial intelligence, falling for Ava, a beautiful female robot with an agenda. This is a film with twists, stunning cinematography and fascinating commentary on the AI world.

A Simple Favour (2018)

The perfect dark comedy for your next girls’ night, A Simple Favour has the twists and intrigue to keep you hooked, but thanks to the comedic talent of Anna Kendrick, is still a fun watch. Stephanie (Kendrick) is a food vlogger and widowed mother of one living in Connecticut when she meets the hyper-successful, gorgeous Emily (Blake Lively) and forms a close friendship that ends abruptly when Emily disappears. Turns out, Emily had a few secrets, and as Stephanie stops at nothing to find her friend, she discovers Emily wasn’t all she seemed.

Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021)

Angelina Jolie stars in this action-packed drama about a smokejumper (survival experts who are inserted into wildfires as first-response fire-fighters) who fights to protect a young boy from trained assassins. Sound confusing? On paper it is, but on film, it’s a tense, thrilling chase through the wilderness, teamed with some impeccable acting and a unique insight into a treacherous career.

Harry Potter (2001)

Sure, we’ve all watched Harry Potter, but if you want to binge all the films (and then continue on with the franchise), BINGE is the place. All eight films plus the two Fantastic Beasts movies are on the streaming service, so settle in with some popcorn for a weekend.

The Godfather (1972)

Not just a classic, The Godfather is mandatory viewing, regularly topping lists of ‘films to watch before you die’. Following the story of Vito Corleone and his family, the film is one of three, focusing on Vito’s son Michael as he rises within the mafia in America. All three films are on BINGE, and with each clocking in at over two-and-a-half hours, this trilogy makes for perfect weekend viewing.
