Peeking into other people’s homes offers endless inspiration for your own. You can see what furniture and décor they’ve used, how they’ve made use of their space, and what base architectural design they’re working with. It’s all useful pieces of inspiration you can then bring into your own interior design.
Fortunately, home renovation and design platform Houzz has made it easy to get a hefty dose in one go with its 2023 edition of its annual ‘Best of’ awards. Each year, the awards name the top homes in the categories of Customer Service, Photography, and, what we’re most interested in, Design.
Within the Design category, homes were awarded for excelling at certain spaces, including the bathroom, powder room, and entryway. The ‘Best Of’ home office category featured a working space next to a floor-to-ceiling window letting in streaming sunlight, a sleek space with plenty of discrete storage and a built-in desk, and another that doubled as a guest sleeping space with a fold-down bed.
