Sarah and George are self-confessed “mad dogs” from western Sydney in NSW and according to channel 9, they’re unlike anyone we’ve seen before.
The couple has been together for eight years and married for three, and have a relationship built on old-school values with a new-school quirk.
Having some solid experience behind them, George is a tradie and together, they have renovated two homes.
Sarah, 27, a high school teacher, is always laughing, always smiling and always positive — her husband says.
She boasts an eye for design and lots of creative ideas and thinks The Block might lead her in a new direction.
“Don’t get me wrong, I love my job, but I am not the same person when I’m teaching. It’s just not the dream,” she said in her introduction interview.
Sarah said she couldn’t be who she is without her husband, 33-year-old George.
George has been an electrician for 13 years however, some of the tradies tools on The Block are not what he’s used to.
Sarah describes him as very funny, a bit of a nerd and unlike anyone she has ever met.
George is a big kid at heart and a big teddy bear and his Harley-Davidson motorcycle is his pride and joy.
The electrician plans to make his fellow Sydney “westies” proud by keeping up his bling and his hair fade looking “fully sick”.
“We’ve said it a million times, but this kind of thing doesn’t happen to people like us. It’s mad, bro,” George said in their introduction interview.
After the adventure of The Block, the pair plan to start a family of their own.
