After watching the perfectly trashy Love Is Blind earlier this year, we thought that Netflix couldn’t possibly top it. But of course, its come through in our time of need with some extremely lustful content.
I think we can all agree that one unexpected side-effect of the coronavirus lockdown period has been, uh… horniness. Some lucky people out there live with their partners, but for everyone else it’s kind of like a pandemic-enforced dry spell.
Coincidentally, Netflix’s new dating show, Too Hot To Handle addresses just that. And judging by the trailer, it’s going to be stellar viewing for a weekend in lockdown.
The concept is simple: a bunch of extremely hot, young people all head to a tropical island for a few weeks, à la Bachelor In Paradise.
That sounds like a recipe for a real sexy time, but the cast quickly learns that they’re forbidden from hooking up: no kissing or sex allowed. If the rules are broken, they lose their shot at winning the $100,000 prize money.
The idea is that they all have to get past their overt horniness and try to form real, lasting connections. Though the trailer looks like there’s a lot of drinking, partying, and steamy showers. God, it’s going to be perfect.
Too Hot To Handle will drop April 17 and you can watch the trailer here:
