With an estimated net worth of US $4.7 billion, Richard Branson has enough cash to last many lifetimes. But for whatever reason, the Virgin Group founder has decided to make a little extra pocket money and has listed his second private island to the public for the very first time.

Moskito Island, situated within the pristine blue waters of the Caribbean, is now available for holidaymakers to book a luxurious stay. The only catch? You’ll have to rustle up $21,000 for the night. At the minimum.

Spread over 50 hectares, the island’s accommodation is comprised of three huge villas: Headland House, Mangrove Villa and Beach Villa. Together, they’ve 11 bedrooms, which means a huge group holiday for 22 people is a possibility.

In true Branson style, each villa and its grounds spares no expense on the lavish extras. There’s infinity pools, private chefs and butlers, tennis courts, high-end gyms, bar areas, lounging spots, the works.

A stay in these villas starts at $32,500 a night in the off-peak season, climbing to $43,000 in the most desirable months. Four guest rooms upon the estate are available for those on a “budget”, starting at $21,000 a night.

While steep, guests do get a lot of value from the stay. The island itself has plenty to keep you occupied, from surfing and stand-up paddleboarding to jet skits and mountain biking.

Moskito Island sits around 4km away from Branson’s other island, Necker Island, though the former is much newer – Branson purchased Moskito Island in 2007 before carrying out a huge update in 2011, while Necker was acquired in 1978.

You can find out more about Moskito Island here, and book your stay (huge flex).
