A Great Value Bottomless Brunch in North Sydney

Rafi North Sydney bottomless lunch

North Sydney has quietly transformed into one of the city’s best dining destinations, with a bottomless lunch offering standing out as a foodie highlight. A dining experience to note is RAFI RecordsBottomless Lunch, on every Saturday.

For $120 per person and a minimum of two people, you’ll get share dishes like sourdough pitas and hummus, cucumber with labneh and crispy potatoes with French onion dip and chives. The main event is a grain-fed flat iron steak with black garlic butter.

Wash the food down with two hours of bottomless drinks. On the menu is a lager, three wines and a prosecco (all Australian) and a mimosa, so there’s really something for everyone. For an extra $25pp, you can add on an extra hour of bottomless drinks. A Vinyl DJ will set the tone for the lunch, playing upbeat tunes as part of a curated playlist.

RAFI’s interiors feature colourful, abstract art, towering indoor plants and hanging paper lamps. “We gave Luchetti Krelle [Sydney-based architecture and interior design firm] free rein to have a lot of fun with the space,” Ben Carroll, co-owner of Applejack, the group behind RAFI, told Good Food when the restaurant opened.

“RAFI has a massive outdoor area,” he added at the time. The restaurant has a wrap-around terrace with tables protected by orange beach umbrellas. RAFI got its name by taking the first initials of Carroll and Applejack co-owner Hamish Watts’ kids. The two also own Bopp & Tone in the city and The Butler in Potts Point.

The Bottomless Lunch is also on at RAFI’s second location at URBNSURF in Sydney Olympic Park on Saturdays. The sister venue opened in June 2024 and overlooks the surf park and lagoon. It’s almost half the size as the original at 165 seats, with vast retractable windows and a rooftop terrace.
