There may not be much about Christmas this year that feels normal or even terribly festive, but that doesn’t mean we can’t throw on some Christmas tunes — and maybe an ugly Christmas rashie — as we prepare to farewell a truly absurd year.
There are the obvious choices, of course. Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas is You is still the reigning (get it?) champion of yuletide pop, and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas is an enduring classic that has been crooned by everyone from Frank Sinatra to Sam Smith.
In Australia, we like to listen to a mix of new and old with our top ten streamed Christmas songs including stalwarts such as Andy Williams and modern day musos like Ariana Grande.
