From an AFL Legend to a Comedian, Here’s Who’s Competing on ‘I’m a Celeb Australia’

It’s a new year and a new group of celebrities are heading to the jungle to compete on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! Australia. We’ve been given hints here and there but after premiering its first episode last night (Jan 3), we now know exactly which personalities will be put through the wringer.

Hosted by Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown, the reality show cast is kept tightly under wraps with fans eager to find out who will be challenging themselves in the 2022 season.

From a beauty queen to an AFL legend, this year’s cohort of stars is certainly diverse, and for the first time in the franchise’s history, a non-celebrity will enter the jungle in an attempt to convince the other contestants into thinking he’s a big deal.

David Subritzky is a self-described “regular guy from the Goldie” but will be parading around the jungle as a designer and social media “super influencer” who launched his own brand of shoe, the 8 Inch Daves.

The only person who knows the truth is former MasterChef Australia contestant Poh Ling Yeow, who will serve as his accomplice in order to help his mission.

For each day the duo succeed, they will win prizes for their campmates.

But just because The David’s sole purpose is to trick the real celebs into thinking he’s somebody, doesn’t mean he won’t be forced into taking part in the gruelling challenges set for them.

So, without further ado, here are the celebs entering the jungle on I’m a Celeb 2022.
