‘I’m a Celeb’: Will Reality Icon Nathan Henry Thrive In the Jungle?

I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here 2023 cast Nathan Henry

It’s back, baby! That’s right, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is back for Season 9, and as usual, it’s already bringing the laughs and chaos we’ve come to love and expect.

After two seasons of filming in northern New South Wales due to COVID, the borders are open once again, which means I’m a Celeb is back in South Africa, and coming to us live from the jungle.

Hosts Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown are also back, and this season, the premise is simple: make it fun, make it funny, make it a good time for all involved — well, except the celebs, maybe. Having snakes dumped on you or being challenged to ingest a warthog testicle doesn’t sound like much fun to us, to be honest, but look, they knew what they were getting themselves into, right?!

But if you’ve tuned in for all the fun and found yourself thinking “sorry, who is that?” — you’re not alone. Luckily, we’ve got all the goss on who these celebs are, what they’re known for, where you’ve seen them before, and what charity they’re competing for.

One of the celebs who’s made his way to the jungle for the chance to take out the win this season is reality star Nathan Henry, who’s competing for Australian Breast Cancer Research.

Who Is Nathan Henry?

Nathan Henry is a reality star and presenter who first captured the hearts of viewers as a cast member on MTV’s Geordie Shore. The show — the UK’s answer to Jersey Shore — quickly became one MTV’s most successful shows outside of the United States.

When Nathan joined Geordie Shore, he identified as bisexual, but in 2015, during Season 10 of the show, Nathan came out as gay. Later, he went on to host his own MTV show, titled Nathan’s Story, in which he shared his experiences about coming out as gay. Nathan has also appeared in an online series for MTV, in which he discussed growing up as a Black gay man.

Still, Geordie Shore remains close to Nathan’s heart, and in 2022, Nathan launched the third series of his podcast, Geordie Shore – The Podcast, and filmed the second series of Geordie Reacts. He also participated in Geordie Shore – The Reunion.

What Other Shows Has Nathan Henry Been On?

Nathan’s reality fame goes far beyond the Shore. In fact, he’s starred in numerous international reality shows, including Release the Hounds, All Star Driving School, Celebrity Ghost Hunt: Live, Celebability, and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side. He was also one of the original cast members of Celebrity Ex on the Beach.

Nathan has also made a name for himself as a presenter over the years. He has guest co-hosted several episodes of Catfish UK, and hosts the UK version of MTV’s Just Tattoo of Us.

More recently, the start of 2023 saw Nathan finish second on The Challenge UK before moving on to appear on The Challenge – World Championship.

Basically? Nathan’s success shows no signs of slowing down, and he continues to be a fan favourite for lovers of reality television everywhere.

Why Did Nathan Henry Choose Australian Breast Cancer Research?
