A wealthy London couple are in search of a live-in dog sitter to look after their six-storey townhouse and two golden retrievers, Milo and Oscar. Oh, and they’ll pay up to £32,000 ($61,000) a year.
The job was recently listed on Silver Swan Search — a recruitment site with high-end roles that include live-in nanny, private chef, and “French Nanny” (best not to ask).
“A busy couple are looking for a live-in housekeeper at their six-storey townhouse in Knightsbridge,” the job description reads.
“They are both international business people who travel frequently and have two dogs. This is an informal property and they need someone to keep on top of the house while they come and go and to have sole responsibility of the dogs in their absence.”
The successful applicant will be required to walk the pups every morning and night, as well as conduct basic housekeeping that includes laundry, food shopping, greeting visitors, running errands, and “managing dog appointments”.
Occasionally, they’ll be required to cook meals, catering for a vegan diner.
The right candidate will have an undying passion for dogs, will be fit and active with housekeeping skills, and trustworthy.
With free board and a salary of £32,000, this role is undoubtedly one of the best jobs you could ever land, but it’s not the only one like it listed on the site.
