I firmly believe that you’re never too old for magic — when it’s well-executed and believable, of course. That’s the case with these floating candles I recently came across on TikTok.
In a video shared by creator Talia (@tallia), more than a dozen candles lined a dinner table — and floated above it. She wrote over the top of the clip: “PSA: the floating candles are worth the hype”, captioning it “might leave them up forever””.
The result looked like a scene straight out of Harry Potter, though instead of a grand hall, a cosy dining room with tableware in varying shades of pink. The video has racked up a cool nearly 50k views with most commenters sharing my questions of “where can I buy them?” and “how in the heck do they work?”.

I managed to track down the exact candles used in the clip, which are conveniently available on Amazon Australia. They’re Lushharbor Floating Candles With Wand ($32.28), a pack of 10 LED candles strung along a nearly invisible 1.5m-long fishing line. The battery-operated kit comes with a remote to easily control the candles, turning them on or off or having them flicker.
In Talia’s dining table scene, it appears there are two sets of floating candles. To complement those in the air and make the LED floating candles look more realistic, real candles line the centre of the table and along the top of the fireplace.
“Stop this is amazing,” one TikToker commented on Talia’s clip. “I’m obsessed,” wrote another. And “Wow wow wow.”
