Here Are All of the Winners from the 78th Golden Globes Awards – Updated Live

The 78th Golden Globe awards got the ball rolling on awards season, with the annual celebration of film and television being held virtually due to the ongoing pandemic.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler once again took on hosting duties, albeit from opposite sides of the US as Poehler appeared from Los Angeles and Fey from New York.

Australian audiences are able to enjoy the red carpet festivities on Foxtel’s E! Network, with the ceremony itself airing live on Foxtel’s Arena from noon (AEST).

For the first time in Globes history, a record-breaking three women were nominated in the Best Director category — Chloé Zhao for Nomadland, Regina King for One Night in Miami and Emerald Fennell for Promising Young Woman

Elsewhere, the late Chadwick Boseman was posthumously nominated for his final role in Netflix’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, with the streamer itself dominating the nominations, clocking up 42 of them.

Margot Robbie, Tiffany Haddish, Ava DuVernay, Colin Farrell, Sandra Oh, Gal Gadot, Tracy Morgan, Sarah Paulson, Amanda Seyfried, Ben Stiller and Justin Theroux were just some of the presenters handing out the prestigious awards.

Here is the full list 2021 Golden Globes winners, as decided by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
