Baileys has dropped a wild new flavour just in time for the festive season, and we just know Kath and Kim would be into it.
For a limited time only, Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake will be available in Australia to shake up your holiday cocktails and probably give you a cavity (worth it though).
Baileys says its new flavour is an indulgent recipe with the flavour of light fluffy red velvet cupcake folded into Baileys Original Cream, and is “an utterly irresistible combination perfect for that after-dinner adults-only dessert treat”.
A fun mixer for cocktails or enjoyed by itself over ice, the limited-edition liqueur is sure to be a winner at Christmas BBQs and park picnics this year.
The flavour first launched in the UK and US to rave reviews. On Twitter, fans sang their praises for the flavour — even those without a sweet tooth.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Red Velvet Baileys is amazing,” wrote one buyer, while another added: “I’m not even big on red velvet but this Baileys Red Velvet is delicious all by itself.”
To celebrate the launch down under, Baileys has released a sweet new cocktail recipe for a Red Velvet Martini. Here’s how to make it.
The Red Velvet Martini
- Add 50mls of Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake and 25mls of vodka into an ice-filled shaker.
- Shake with ice and pour into a martini glass.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkles for added decadence.
You can pick up a bottle of Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake from your local bottle shop now for $35.99.
