Aldi Drops a Handbag With a Secret Hidden Wine Dispenser

Your summer picnics are about to get boozier with the news Aldi is dropping a new tote bag with a concealed wine cooler. Just in time for the holidays.

Making up part of Aldi’s latest Special Buys collection, which centres around outdoor picnics and is packed full of fun products to level up the experience, the Tote with Concealed Cooler is just $24.99.

It’s available in two colourways and patterns: a nautical-inspired striped navy and white and a more festive aqua with palm prints — both with taupe handles and a removable and adjustable shoulder strap.

The bag has a large insulated internal compartment perfect for transporting picnic goods like snacks, drinks and sandwiches, but of course, we’re most excited about the hidden bladder bag, ideal for storing wine or even pre-mixed cocktails.

And you don’t even need to reach into the bag to access your booze. The tote has a neat lift-up flap on the bag’s exterior which provides direct access to an external spout, so you can fill your glass on the sly.

While there are no reviews on Aldi’s wine tote just yet, a similar wine carrier from Kmart went viral recently amongst picnic and wine enthusiasts, selling out online instantly.

One fan wrote: “I bought this bag. I absolutely love this bag. It is incredibly spacious and fits so much food! And the wine bag is a happy coincidence. I’ve only used it for water on outings with the kids but it stayed cold all day! Absolutely worth it!”
